New York, NY – New York mornings got brighter today, Monday, October 23, with the launch of "Mornings on 1," the new weekday morning show led by veteran News Anchor Pat Kiernan, on Spectrum News NY1 from 6 AM to 9 AM.

Each weekday, Kiernan and the "Mornings on 1" team will help New Yorkers get an informed start to their day with a dynamic mix of local news, headlines, politics, weather and transit reports focused on New York City. Joining Kiernan each weekday morning will be anchor Annika Pergament, traffic reporter Jamie Stelter and weather reporter Stacy-Ann Gooden to deliver three hours of live news.

NY1 viewers will see even more of Pat Kiernan’s popular “In the Papers” with live segments at 6:41 AM, 7:41 AM and 8:41 AM every weekday morning. A special bonus compilation of the segment will air at 9:41 AM. In addition, viewers can expect to see more local stories and live reports that will cover the five boroughs from NY1 reporters Roger Clark and Michael Herzenberg.

The "Mornings on 1" team will deliver weekday newscasts from a new state-of-the-art set created by Jack Morton Worldwide. An inviting, modern space with three primary areas to report the news, the set design was inspired by New York City and features maps and graphics that highlight neighborhoods throughout the five boroughs.
